The number Eleven is universally known to enter everyone’s life from time to time. Whether you look at the clock at 11:11 more often than just by chance or happen to see it consistently wherever you go. It is said that if you are seeing the number 11 in this way, you are a person seeking balance. Seeking balance in your workload, seeking balance in your home life, and, yes, even in your wine. This blend is to evoke balance in all aspects of a glass of wine. The Grenache brings life to the glass with elevated aromatics and fruit sweetness while the Syrah and Mourvèdre provide strength and complexity.
Rose petal and crushed rock candy stick in the nose first along with juicy passionfruit and a floral tomato leaf perfume. A delicate background of sweet and sharp cranberry juice and diffused hibiscus linger. The entry is bright of red currants and berry medley compote, and a short lived softness quickly fleshes out into rich and coating tannins that envelop the palate in charred cedar and cigar box. Pie crust and blueberry cobbler is a decadent and appreciated reprieve that soaks into the palate as the wine finishes with stern and drying tannins.
