The number Eleven is universally known to enter everyone’s life from time to time. Whether you look at the clock at 11:11 more often than just by chance, or happen to see it consistently wherever you go. It is said that if you are seeing the number 11 in this way, you are a person seeking balance. Seeking balance in your workload, seeking balance in your home life, and, yes, even in your wine. This blend is to evoke balance in all aspects of a glass of wine. The Grenache brings life to the glass with elevated aromatics and fruit sweetness while the Syrah and Mourvedre provide strength and complexity.
Bright and fresh on the nose, fruitful overtones of red currants and cranberry tart are polished by a refreshing minerality of wet stone. Deeper on the nose are earthy undertones of chanterelle and floral lavender contrasted by sweet baking notes of brown butter and chocolate mole. The entry to the palate is bawdy with velvety tannins and flavors of sweet red beetroot and juicy cranberry. Tannins continue to strengthen on the mid palate along with jammy boysenberry and cherry pie notes contrasted by an Aperol bite of refreshment. The wine finishes fresh and suddenly as the structure of the mid-palate lingers.
